The Kawana Powerblades’ Christmas get together at The Shed, Palmwoods was an opportunity to help the Maroochy Neighbourhood Centre do its important work to help disadvantaged and vulnerable members of the Sunshine Coast community at Christmas.
 
‘This year KPB replaced Secret Santa gift giving with a donation to the Neighbourhood Centre.  The cash and supermarket gift cards totalled $695 and will help get essentials that most of us take for granted to struggling families and people at Christmas,’ KPB social organiser, Jo Tildesley said.

'The generosity of the Kawana Powerblades is very much appreciated', Maroochy Neighbourhood Centre's Administrator, Martin Wells said.
