Welcome to Kawana Powerblades Dragon Boat Club... incorporated 24 March 2022

We are a dynamic, friendly group of avid paddlers. We love being on the water, enjoying a Sunday afternoon scenic paddle on the beautiful Mooloolah River and estuary or putting in some challenging, hard sessions on the canals around Minyama, Parrearra and Mooloolaba.

We are a totally inclusive and supportive group of senior paddlers in our 50's & 60's, who thrive on creating enjoyment on the water with our structured and varied training.

Many of us are retired high performance athletes who have proudly represented our Country with multiple 'World Nations' Campaign experiences and successes to our credit.

We have experienced the highs and the lows and have pushed our limits in training and competiton to achieve. We are taking it a lot easier these days and want to give back to dragon boating by creating a safe and enjoyable environment for others to engage in our sensational sport.

Whether your aim is fitness, social interaction, or you have a competitive streak and would like to represent your State or Country (at any age), we will work with you, to develop your inner athlete.

What-ever motivates you and glides our boat, we guarantee you will find value and enjoyment amongst our supportive crew.

We will guide you all the way to ensure no one gets left behind.We have witnessed the many positive changes this sport has created in the lives of ordinary people, who have achieved extraodinary results by simply doing their very best and enjoying the positive personal outcomes.
